Pitch Yourself In-person and On Paper
This workshop is geared towards students who want to hone their public speaking skills and/or learn how to write an engaging email when reaching out to faculty or others for research and other opportunities. This workshop, led by Stephanie Barrett from River Campus Libraries and the Speaking Fellows from the Writing, Speaking and Argument Center, is open to all who are interested and is offered through the Pathways to Research Opportunities (PRO) program. PRO focuses on building the soft skills and knowledge students need to obtain research positions at UR, in the community, and beyond. If you’d like to be added to the PRO listserv and be the first notified for all PRO events, email Stephanie Barrett at sbarrett@library.rochester.edu.
The same workshop will be offered at different locations and times. You can register using the links below.
